This is for the second week’s assignment for the Develop: on Fridays series on the Paiselee Press Blog.
I found photos that inspired me that had lots of contrast and movement. I shot this photo in my backyard, trying to catch the sunlight in a similar way.

Is it a dementor? Or just a plastic bag?
Last fall, Scott filled up a garbage bag with leaves, hung it from the trees and used it as a target for hitting it with sticks and stuff. He’ll tell you he is practicing defending himself when the Zombie Apocalypse comes.
From my kitchen window, I see the now-empty bag blowing int he wind, and it looks like a dementor is gliding past the tree.

My kids walked over to a local New Age store before the holidays and saw this faery. They were so excited to give it to me for Christmas. She is hanging up right over my computer so she can watch over me. And I can look at her and think of how much I love my kids.

Even though I have been aggravatingly laid up with my back, I have been trying to keep up as best as I can.
I am working on a free online photography workshop at the paislee press blog. We had to take 75 photos of one subject. Since Mickey always makes me happy, I chose him! This was my favorite shot of the bunch. My runner ups can be found here: [develop]

I have been stuck in bed, I can’t walk. Or move. It hurts!
But I am bored out of my skull! And to make me feel better, I had to announce it to all of my Facebook friends.
