This beetle was really cool. I saw him when I was watering my morning glories and he was a bright gold color. After I took a few shots of him, his shell started to turn red, right before my eyes. I never saw anything like it before.

I guess this is P 365 and a half… or would that be 182.5? Either way, i am starting up again. I have two photo done, and hope to finish put the second half of the year. I thought it would be appropriate to start off by flipping the calendar to June and taking my first shot!

Yes, the media has named this winter “snowpacolypse.” Waaaay too much snow for me, no matter what you call it! This shot was taken just a couple of hours after the storm, also being called a “snow-icane,’ began.

It’s funny how deer can look so beautiful and serene, yet be the carriers of the awful deer tick.
There were two deer walking through my yard at dusk. I love to watch them- just keep on moving along….
